Troy Hall
Troy is former USA National Team Athlete in Rugby 7s and 15s, where he also became a national champion in 2010 & 2015 with the New York Athletic Club. After an eight year professional career from 2008-2015, Troy turned to coaching. With a couple of years of spreading rugby in Portland, Oregon; Troy turned to the Clemson Tigers. Troy, a proud husband and father of 3, is now the current Director of Rugby of the Clemson Rugby Club.
Troy is the epitome of a skilled rugby coach. As all of his players know, he will give 120% percent of skills, dedication, and wisdom to his players to help them succeed. Whether it is taking time out his schedule to help his players before/after practice or setting the pace by competing with the players in practice; Troy is a true professional who is beloved by his players.
HEAD COACH
Gregor Grassie
Gregor is a former rugby player for Clemson Rugby Club. Gregor fell in love with the sport at a young age, where he represented Switzerland and Scotland at high club levels. As Gregor got older, he decided to take his talents across the pond, and study at Elon University. After two years, Gregor fell in love with Clemson University where he is now a current student studying Marketing.
Gregor is cherished and respected by his teammates as he made the move to help the organization in a coaching position. Gregor takes pride in working with the backs on their all around skills. But most importantly, his dedication to keeping the team a tight knit group is treasured by the whole organization.
